I'm creating some various holds for one of my final renderings. This one is of river origin

so here is the rough idea
Down with route chaos! Which line is it? Which tape pattern, hold color is it?
With the LED lit route all your routes are clearly visible. The LED cluster lives on the back of the hold. It has a central hole that straddles the main bolt.
This instantly provides users with a better experience, they are able track their progress at the gym. (possibly some RFID route tracking) In addition, during competitions, the routes are easily visible by spectators and competitors alike. Overall, this system aims to motivate climbers, many game possibilities, ease of route selection, and boost overall fun factor.
I'm still working out the final presentation images, so check out the rough draft. My final image will have a wall covered in holds, while one route is lit up, showing the way. Somewhere on that image, I'd like to have an exploded view, simpler that the one above, showing bolt, hold, led cluster, and wall.

SPLIT feature
Dear, Surface Loft...
...please cooperate. So, I've been having some trouble with the Surface Loft feature in SW. I need to create a tangent surface that will end up being a LED bulb cover / lens.

led cluster update
I am going to enclose the circut board and LED bulbs. I was figuring that since the led cluster would be inbetween the wall and rock hold that it wouldnt need much, but these things are very fragile towards dust, shock and moisture. I have some ideas for them to be stand alone units as well, furthering the project scope much further, encompassing climber community and game play.
and I'll lose that screw, silly it is.
